Three Day Workshop

Staff and Volunteer Roles for the 24-30-Hour Workshop

This extended schedule offers an equal balance of field work and classroom work. It allows for flexible staffing, where technology experts and science content experts are available only at specific times, thereby limiting how staff-intensive the workshop needs to be. {Full role descriptions are provided in the Watershed Discovery Chapter.] Typical staffing includes:

  • Overall Coordinator
  • Technology Expert
  • Media Expert
  • Watershed Science Expert
  • Naturalist
  • Storyline Facilitator
