Who is Involved?

Coalition for Watershed Education (CWE) and other Project Partners

The Coalition for Watershed Education is anchored by four well-established community organizations operating in varied but intersecting domains. They have expertise in technology, broadcast, exhibit design and water resource management among other areas. They are:
  • Land Information Access Association (LIAA)
  • Northwestern Michigan College’s Great Lakes Water Studies Institute, (WSI)
  • Great Lakes Children’s Museum, (GLCM)
  • Interlochen Public Radio, (IPR)
The Project Partners also include:
  • Michigan State University Extension 4-H

Project Team

The Project Team includes personnel at each of the core partnering organizations with primary responsibility for directing the component(s) of the project that are built around strengths within their organization. In addition to the roles described, each core partner acts as liaison to their regional and national counterparts.

Project Consultants

The project consultants provide media production support for field teams.

Advisors

Advisory Committee Members are professionals with expertise in science and technology education, youth development and advocacy, and watershed and river science. The primary function of the advisory committee is to provide guidance on the development of STEM content, best instructional practice, ensure content accuracy and assist with broad dissemination of the project. They are:
